PROLOGUE
In a dark room, bathing in the flickering light of two bedside candles, a man lies in agony in his bed, with only his praying father by his side. His eyes are closed, as he dares no longer face the devastating reality in which he lives. In his mind, amidst ever darkening thoughts and slanderous whispers, he has found a secret place and locked himself away.
Yet he is not alone...

ENTITY, parts I - V

I) DISCONSOLATION (THE HIDDEN THREAT)
Father: Fall on your knees and believe...
Can you hear me, fighting your disease?
Man: ...and here I am, still on my feet
Father: There's no reason why you should be afraid
Man: Hear me calling out for your embrace
Father: There's a life here, waiting for you, only you
Man: Leaving all my troubled yesterdays
Father: The day will come, you'll see the light of day

Demon: I hide in the darkness your mind once created
A flash through the dark, your eyes are burning
Lost in the void, there's no balance between the darkness and light
A soul usurper
The echo of my name will ring in silence
A coarse reflection
The silent redeemer of a life that's no longer denied

Man: I stand all alone, on my own...
Father: Here I am, still fighting for your soul
Man: ...here in this darkness where the shadows fall
Father: Find the light you've known within, your own
Man: Loneliness, my one and only friend...
Stay with me until the bitter end
Father: Your time will come...

And deep inside of a sacrilegious glare where you'll find shelter from that thing that you most fear...

A minded creation, but not one of this earth
A mindless formation, and the voice that whispers slowly burns

Man: I'll find a way, another day
Another world where I'll belong...goodbye!

II) A FAREWELL TO REALITY
Drifting away
His eyes are escaping reality
His mind awakens...
Lost in this world he'd fight the battle between the darkest of lights
The call of the wicked
Incantations of fear, a presence appalling
Drawn to darkness by the entity's praise and into its might

Man: I've seen the truth in your eyes
Demon: A time to repent all your lies
Undisguised in the universal light
A profound betrayal of human insight
As deep as the black of the night
Here inside where seeds of sanity grow and evil is life

Man: I welcome you to teach me everything
And to find the path on which I have to go
The secrets of a life worth living
But at what cost?
(That of) a life I've never known?

III) INTO THE ETHEREAL SHADOWS

He came to witness his own execution
But his mind never laid to rest
Full of fear, his eyes looking skywards no more
There inside, facing his own expiration and all the lies that were heaven sent
He denied the truth that was already told
...and then he ended his life

Man: For all eternity
Thine is the darkest sanctity

My life was pure but long overdue
Your light shines through and all over you
Now, come inside and find your truth

Father: Don't let him into your mind
He's taking over your soul

IV) ABANDONMENT

All the lies he lived out in anger to forget what he endured inside
All his hope would lead him to darkness
All alone in the back of his mind

Demon: This is the new beginning
All the angels conceiled in the skies
Clouds divided are gathered; their reason to die
