VI) A STOLEN PRAYER
Man: I hide my tears away in search for sacred solitude
And try to find a place to hide
Below the surface where everything is black as night
There's nothing left for me to find
But I'm not afraid...

Demon: I'll stand where the fire rages through the pages of your sanity
And thus be throned on fire and bone in a chamber sealed for all eternity
I own this soul, my shadowed throne in the deepest ruins of your mind
And the horns will sound my triumph when existence has failed and none are left alive

I am the war you're fighting for, the incarnation of another life unpure
Your mind controlled by malice, and your desperation illuminates a soul about to die
The fires are raging and they're burning high
At the end of all the sky will fall
A Narcissus rising that's never meant to die

Man: Father of all, hear now my call
I need you to know and care for my soul
Father of all, please hear my call
I'm dying inside with nowhere to hide

Demon: Deep inside a twisted illusion
The god you have trusted hath faded away
Your silent prayers disappear in the shadows
All is lost as you're drifting away into a silence where your own senses are frozen
And the only thing that you'll feel is my gain
The time has come, this misplaced pariah will come to flesh and then burn you away
Breaking out from the chains of illusion
Out of mind and into a presence of might
Time to burn and wither before me
I am the downfall you'll face at the end of the line
...and now is the time that you'll die!

Demon: A distant shade, now becoming

No more endless dreams or ever silent screams
From darkness unto light where your soul ignites
Beneath a darkened sky...thine is the wish to die

Demon: I have lived in the dark in an altering silence

Break away from that grand misconception
And all the lies that were left in your mind
Through laws of grave deception
