Shadowself:

I embraced my fears, a life forsaken

I fall into my mind's crescendo when everything is coming to a halt
But my desperation is calling and I fail to see the light appear before my eyes

Demon:
I deny this fading disguise
Euphoria, melancholy, secrets enlightened
You stumble through endeavours just to face another fall
In this sanctuary of illusions I will set the course; the balance of it all

Shadowself:
I stand again for all to see
The question remains for all eternity
I stayed within these silent walls where emptiness reigns and shadows fall

But this feeling inside me just won't go away

Echoes are sounding as time passes by

I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer
